1  Scope


This part of ISO 6506 specifies methods of direct and indirect verification of testing machines used for

determining Brinell hardness in accordance with ISO 6506?1, and also specifies when these two types of

verification has to be performed.


The direct verification involves checking that individual machine performance parameters fall within

specified limits whereas the indirect verification utilizes hardness measurements of reference blocks,

calibrated in accordance with ISO 6506?3, to check the machine’s overall performance.

If a testing machine is also to be used for other methods of hardness testing, it has to be verified

independently for each method.


This part of ISO 6506 is applicable to both fixed location and portable hardness testing machines. For

machines that are incapable of satisfying the specified force-time profile, the direct verification of force and testing cycle can be modified by the use of Annex B.

國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)GB/T 231.2-2012《金屬材料 布氏硬度試驗(yàn) 第2部分:硬度計(jì)的檢驗(yàn)與校準(zhǔn)》

       本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)使用重新起草法修改采用國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)ISO6506-2:2005《金屬材料 布氏硬度試驗(yàn) 第2部分:硬度計(jì)的檢驗(yàn)與校準(zhǔn)》(第二版),在文本結(jié)構(gòu)和技術(shù)內(nèi)容方面與ISO6506-2:2005一致。 

       本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與ISO6506-2:2005的技術(shù)性差異及其原因如下: 

       —— 刪除了ISO6506-2:2005的前言,重新編寫了前言; 

       —— 關(guān)于規(guī)范性引用文件,本部分做了具有技術(shù)性差異的調(diào)整,以適應(yīng)我國(guó)的技術(shù)條件,調(diào)整的內(nèi)容集中反映在第2章“規(guī)范性引用文件”中,具體調(diào)整如下: 

              ● 用修改采用國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T231.1代替ISO6506-1(見第1章、4.2.4、4.5、5.4和附錄A); 

              ● 用修改采用國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T231.3代替ISO6506-3(見5.1); 

              ● 用修改采用國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T4340.1代替ISO6507-1(見4.3.4.2); 

              ● 用等同采用國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T13634代替ISO376(見4.2.3); 

       —— 將4.5中“時(shí)控誤差最大允許值的指標(biāo)”由“±1.0s”修改為“±0.5s”,以改正ISO6506-2:2005原文中4.5與A.1.4中該項(xiàng)技術(shù)指標(biāo)不協(xié)調(diào)的錯(cuò)誤(見4.5和附錄A 的A.1.4); 

       —— 由于5.3的注中含有要求,故將該注變成了正文(見5.3); 

       —— 改正了附錄A 的表A.1和A.5中一些錯(cuò)誤的計(jì)算結(jié)果和數(shù)據(jù),并在做過改正的地方用下劃線注明; 

       —— 規(guī)范了附錄A 中向公式里代入數(shù)值的一些計(jì)算式的表達(dá)方法; 

       —— 將附錄A 的公式(A.10)、公式(A.13)和表A.9中的符號(hào)“b”用符號(hào)“E”替換; 

       —— 刪除了參考文獻(xiàn)。 

       本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與ISO6506-2:2005相比存在技術(shù)性差異,這些差異涉及的條款已通過在其外側(cè)頁邊空白位置的垂直單線(│)進(jìn)行了標(biāo)示。 

       本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)還做了下列編輯性修改: 

       —— 將“ISO6506的本部分”一詞改為“本部分”;

       —— 用中文的小數(shù)點(diǎn)符號(hào)“.”代替英文的小數(shù)點(diǎn)符號(hào)“,”。
