1 Scope
This part of ISO 6506 specifies the method for the Brinell hardness test for metallic materials. It is
applicable to both fixed location and portable hardness testing machines.
For some specific materials and/or products, particular International Standards exist (e.g. ISO 4498)
and make reference to this International Standard.

本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)修改采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn) ISO 6506-1:2005《金屬材料 布氏硬度試驗(yàn) 第1部分:試驗(yàn)方法》(英文版)。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)根據(jù)ISO 6506-1:2005重新起草,根據(jù)我國的實(shí)際情況,該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)在采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)時進(jìn)行了修改和補(bǔ)充。這些技術(shù)性差異用垂直單線標(biāo)識在它們所涉及的條款的頁邊空白處。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)結(jié)構(gòu)和技術(shù)內(nèi)容與ISO 6506-1:2005基本一致,根據(jù)我國情況在以下幾方面進(jìn)行了修改:
—— 刪去了國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的前言;
—— “本國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”一詞改為“本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”
—— 用小數(shù)點(diǎn)“.”代替作為小數(shù)點(diǎn)的“,”;
—— 在規(guī)范性引用文件中刪去了標(biāo)準(zhǔn)ISO4498;
—— 在第6章中的6.1增加了試樣表面粗糙度的建議;
—— 對原ISO 6506-1:2005標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的附錄C硬度值的測量不確定度進(jìn)行了修改。
