1 Scope
This part of ISO 4545 specifies the method of verification of testing machines for determining Knoop hardness for metallic materials in accordance with ISO 4545-1-1. It covers test forces from 0,098 07 N to 19,614 N. The method is recommended only for indentations with diagonals W 0,020 mm.
It specifies a direct verification method for checking the main functions of the machine, and an indirect verification method suitable for the overall checking of the machine. The indirect verification method may be used on its own for periodic routine checking of the machine in service.
If a testing machine is also to be used for other methods of hardness testing, it should be verified independently for each method.

本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)使用重新起草法修改采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)ISO4545-2:2005《金屬材料 努氏硬度試驗(yàn) 第2部分:硬度計(jì)的檢驗(yàn)就校準(zhǔn)》(第一版),在文本結(jié)構(gòu)和技術(shù)內(nèi)容方面與ISO4545-2:2005一致。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與ISO4545-2:2005的技術(shù)性差異及其原因如下:
——?jiǎng)h除了ISO4545-2:2005的前言,重新編寫了前言;
——關(guān)于規(guī)范性引用文件,本部分做了具有技術(shù)性差異的調(diào)整,以適應(yīng)我國的技術(shù)條件,調(diào)整的內(nèi)容集中反映在第2章“規(guī)范性引用文件”中,具體調(diào)整如下:
● 用等同采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T13634代替ISO376(見4.2.2);
● 用修改采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T18449.1—2009代替ISO4545-1:2005(見第1章、4.2.1、4.3.5、4.5、5.5和附錄B);
● 用修改采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的GB/T18449.3代替ISO4545-3:2005(見5.1);
——改正了附錄B的表B.3、表B.4、表B.5和表B.8中一些錯(cuò)誤的計(jì)算結(jié)果和數(shù)據(jù),并在做過改正的地方用下劃線注明;
——規(guī)范了附錄B中向公式里代人數(shù)值的一些計(jì)算式的表達(dá)方法;
——將附錄B的式(B.10)、式(B.13)和表B.9中的符號(hào)用符號(hào)"E"替換;
——?jiǎng)h除了參考文獻(xiàn)。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與ISO4545-2:2005相比存在技術(shù)性差異,這些差異涉及的條款已通過在其外側(cè)頁邊空白位置的垂直單線(∣)進(jìn)行了標(biāo)示。
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)還做了如下編輯性修改:
——用“ISO 4545 的本部分”一詞改為“本部分”;
——用中文的小數(shù)點(diǎn)符號(hào)“.”代替英文的小數(shù)點(diǎn)符號(hào)“,”。
